If this feels familiar to you, healthy relationship therapy can guide you to the solutions.

Therapy for healthy relationships can help answer why your relationship feels like it is hitting a dead-end and you can’t progress beyond the conflict.
Often our thoughts and feelings influence our behaviors in our relationships and when we look at relationships with a negative lens, our behaviors are strongly influenced in that direction. Through our work together, you will challenge that perspective and shift your mindset so it can open the door to developing a healthy relationship. Ultimately this change is what can make a connection flourish at home, at work or with your children. Our sessions will be conducted in a safe, supportive and collaborative space where you can talk freely about what you need and want in your relationship. Through our work you will not only develop the skills you need, but also learn how to apply them to create lasting change in your relationships.
Frequently Asked Questions

During the first few sessions, we will discuss the relationship challenges that led you to seek therapy, your relationship history and other critical background information, and determine goals for you to achieve with therapeutic support. Sessions will be virtual, 50 minutes long, and offered either weekly or every 2 weeks depending on what works best for you and your goals.

Therapy is different for everyone. The goals we identify when you start therapy will help us estimate what timeframe will be beneficial to achieving success. The pace for reaching these goals is set by you. Some clients find they have met their goals in a few months while others choose to integrate therapy as regular, ongoing support. My therapeutic approach starts with meeting you where you are at in the process and I will help keep you on the path to accomplish your goals.

Whether this is your first time in therapy or you have tried it before, therapy works best when you are invested in achieving your goals. It is important for your success that we are a good fit and the free 20-minute consultation will allow you to determine if I am the right therapist for you. To see if therapy is working for you, you can assess as we go to determine if you are making progress towards your goals and noticing improvements in your daily life.

Together we can discuss how you feel about the changes you are making and the impact it has on your relationship. If your partner doesn’t change during this process, we can determine how that fits into your definition of a healthy relationship. This applies to relationships with romantic partners, family members, and coworkers.

At this time I only offer therapy for healthy relationships to individuals. However, clients find that individual work in therapy can positively impact relationships even if the other person isn’t participating in therapy or ready to do the work. If you are looking for couples counseling, I can help you explore that option to take the steps necessary to set it up.
